Please lift up in your prayers these men: Stenson Carpenter, Cristobal Echavaria, Jim Harrington, William Kughn, Kenny Wright, Willie Ivey, and Kevin Billips. They were appointed to the elder selection committee (ESC) to help this church family through the process of appointing elders. Willie and Kevin are alternates. All of these men have diligently worked to put together a time table that will ultimately lead to appointing elders at Greenbrier. The time table (click here to go tho the page) has been inserted in your weekly bulletin, as well as copies on the welcome center in the lobby. The plan is to equip this congregation with the biblical principles of Godly leaders so when the appropriate time comes we will be able to appoint Godly men as elders. The time table allows for 8 Sundays of teaching and preaching these biblical principles. Then there will be 11 days for the congregation to turn in names of men who are members of this church family who possess the Godly characteristics of God's leaders. Please try to attend all classes and services.
